Rockie is an energetic, loyal, and loving dog who thrives on outdoor adventures. Whether it’s trail running, jogging, or biking, he’s always up for a good time and can keep pace for hours (though he’s slowing down a bit on the downhills as he ages). At home, he’s a calm, relaxed companion, especially when he’s with his favorite person.

Rockie’s love and devotion to his family are unmatched. He gets protective of his person, which makes him an excellent guardian. Once Rockie bonds with you, he’s a loyal, affectionate friend who will always be by your side.

He does well with other dogs, especially calm, easy-going ones, and enjoys meeting new dog friends once he’s had time to warm up. Rockie is also a big fan of car rides and loves being included in family activities.

Rockie’s ideal home is with someone who’s active and enjoys spending time outdoors, who can give him the attention and exercise he craves. He’s happiest when he’s with his person, and his loyalty, playful nature, and love for adventure make him an amazing companion.

Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100.
