Meet Carole, a delightful 5-month-old Domestic Short Hair who arrived at the shelter with her spicy littermates on 10/29/24. Named after the festive Christmas Carole, she was found alongside her brother Nick and sister Holly. Carole is the choir director of the group, ensuring her sister behaves and her brother isn’t left behind.
Initially destined for a life as a barn cat, Carole was ear-tipped when she was spayed. She had a cold and a knot on her head, so the shelter staff decided she needed some time in foster care to heal. That’s when everything changed for Carole. She discovered that people are awesome and that indoor life is exactly what she longs for. Carole adores lap naps and back scratches, and while she is stoic, she is also super playful.
Carole still has a knot on her noggin, but it’s a benign condition that makes her unique, like her very own North Star leading her home to you. If you’re looking for a loving and playful companion, Carole is ready to bring her festive spirit and joy into your home.
