Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Do you believe in love at first sight? We certainly do and staff instantly feeling love with Virgil and his little crooked legs as soon as he walked into CARE. This happy boi is just a bundle of excitement and joy and has the ability to put a smile on everyone that meets him. Virgie loves rough housing with other dogs but is also respectful of them if they would rather not, and although he is wonderful with his other K9 pals, felines are not his forte and would need a home without them. Virgil is heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines, so now is the time to meet this goofy boy!

Adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, UTD vaccines, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV (cats), microchip and registration, and 30 days of free pet insurance.
Once you meet an animal you want to adopt, you'll fill out an application. We'll read through and go over it with you. Once that's approved we'll set up a counseling session to go over all paperwork with you.
Dogs must go home in a collar and leash and cats must leave in a carrier. Both of which can be purchased at the shelter. .
