My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Dorothy! I am the mama to the Wicked litter (Boq, Elphaba, Glinda, Oz, Fiyero and Nessa!) and we were rescued from the euthanasia list when my puppies were just 4 weeks old. I am the sweetest girl and a very good, patient mama! I am potty trained, know my basic commands (in English AND in Spanish!) and I am as easy going and calm as they come! I love to get attention and just want somewhere that I can get lots of love and treats! I am in a temporary foster home with my puppies until they are old enough to go to other foster homes, and I will be needing a permanent foster home at that time, too! I am heartworm positive, so once my puppies no longer need me, I will need to begin treatment! During that treatment, I will need plenty of rest and to be kept calm, which won’t be a problem for me, I’m a total couch potato. I am great with other dogs, and love to wander around the yard and investigate, but my favorite place to be is laying down in the house. We aren’t sure how I would do with cats, but I don’t think I’ll have any issues!

The foster parent for your inquired animal will reach out for a meet and greet if you are approved.

Meet the Pet

Ideally this will take place in the potential adopters home. If not, this can be done in a public setting.

Pay Fee

You will receive a PayPal invoice for the adoption fee prior to adoption.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Adoptions are scheduled after a successful meet and greet with an official 405 Animal Rescue adoption counselor via our scheduling link.
