Bonnie and her brother Beau are friendly, lively Shepard pups who get long great with everyone they meet. They showed up at a trailer park in a rural part of northern Mississippi when they were young puppies and were taken in by an elderly couple. Sadly, the mom passed away, and the dad is no longer able to care for them and so Wags stepped in to help them find a home.
Bonnie has just arrived in her new foster home in the northeast, she was a little shy at first , but she settled in right away with the other dogs and is very gentle and sweet. Bonnie has no aggression and will make a fabulous family member, she loves to play, but she’s also great at chilling! She does have some puppy like behavior and could use some training to learn not to jump up, but she’s just so excited to see her people! Bonnie is a smart girl and learns quickly. And she is very loving, she is all tail wags and kisses. She is doing well with potty training. If you give her a ball or toy she will keep herself entertained!
Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use.
