Bethlehem is where the greatest story ever can begin. A dog is such a blessing addition to a home if you are committed to them for their entire life. So many people are not and that is why we meet so many new faces daily. Our girl was so shy her first few days but she shook it off quickly. Bethlehem has some jazz once she is comfortable. She has all the things anyone would want in a friend. She listens when we talk to her, knows some commands, likes to eat, and gives adorable hugs. Bethlehem even let us give her a makeover and get those crusties out of her eyes. She is a great dog without great people to love her.

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL
*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
