Joker is an easygoing, charming kitty, and he’s showing us a little more of his spark every day. With a perfect heart on the tip of his nose, he is the perfect choice for a lap kitty. Today, for the first time, he came out from his nook and politely requested we pick him up, which felt like a huge breakthrough. Little man is nailing this who cat cottage thing!
Now 2, Joker was rescued by a woman who took in lots of outdoor cats who were craving the comforts of home. It’s like she had a sign on her door, written in Cat, that read “Best kind human! Will help.” When she became ill, she asked if PAWS could take Joker and several of her other cats, and we took them in.
Joker is not a glad-hander and he’s never, ever demanding. But, if you will give him the time to muster his courage, he’ll blossom right in front of your eyes. He’s great with other cats and would do well with a cat companion. He’s also lived with dogs, so we assume he could be comfortable with a cat-respectful dog friend.
