Peppermint was easy to leash but felt strong during our walk; in the yard, she was playful and LOVED playing fetch; Peppermint “sat” on command; she was not mouthy and took treats gently; she seemed treat motivated; she was a bouncy girl, but redirected easily with treats and the toss of a toy; Peppermint had a playful energy level, but was patient during her photo shoot! -Positive body language through the fence with another dog
-Extremely treat motivated, so should be easier to train
-Playful + energetic girl
-Likes to chase toys + balls
-Knows sit + will hold it
-Loves exploring trails + sniffing
-Strong on leash so would recommend a harness

If you are looking for a new pet, ACC has a wide variety of animals to adopt; from dogs and cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, to the occasional snake and pot-bellied pigs. The shelter also has two specially designed bonding areas for people to interact and play with the animals they are considering for adoption.
