Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I am Brien! I came to the shelter with mange, but after three months in my amazing foster home, I am all healed up and ready to find my forever home! My foster mama says I am the most well-behaved puppy she could ever dream of, but I will admit, I am in my rebellious phase! I am super smart and treat-motivated, so I will catch on quickly with some training, but my independent streak means I will need reassurance and consistency along the way.
I absolutely adore everyone I meet, whether it is people or animals, but I do have a deeper bond with my foster siblings than my foster parents; therefore, it would be best for me to live in a home with another four-legged friend that I can play all day with. Get ready for a pup who is both sweet and full of energy, I am a huge bundle of joy!
I am a Cattle Dog mix and will likely grow to 45-50lbs when I am fully grown. With my independent spirit and loving nature, I am looking for a family that can keep up with my energy and guide me through life with plenty of patience and love.
I am in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting me please fill out an adoption application on our website www.souldog.org/adopt or email adopt@souldog.org with any questions! We ask that all members of the household come for a meet and greet to ensure there are no personality clashes. Doing a meet and greet with one of our animals does not guarantee you are adopting the animal. We will select the family we feel is the best choice for the animal after screening and meeting all applicants.

More about this rescue
Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.
Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient. Soul Dog works with volunteer veterinarians to provide the spaying and neutering service at no cost to the public. Donations are used to defray the costs associated with medications, supplies, and the operating cost for clinics.
