My name is Long John Silver!

Hi! My name is Long John Silver!
I am around 6 months old and a tri-pod! I had one of my back legs amputated over a month ago and never even noticed!! I can run just as fast and don’t even realize I’m a little bit different than any other pup!
I was found on the side of a highway in south Carolina. When I first got to my foster family, I was very very scared of everything. But thankfully, my foster mama worked really hard to make me feel comfortable. Now I love playing with dogs and humans!! If I can’t be playing outside with my furry friends, my absolute favorite thing to do is snuggle!! My foster mom says I am an Olympic snuggler! I am still learning and struggle with sharing sometimes. Right now, I feel most comfortable having my own toys and food in a dedicated space that’s just my own.
I am very smart and am constantly learning new boundaries every day. I know a lot of tricks, wait until I am released to eat and even know “place”!

I can’t wait to snuggle my forever family very soon!!

All Philly Bully puppies under 8 months must go to a home within 2 hours of Philadelphia. Philly Bully Team will prioritize homes with another young and playful dog, but we will also adopt to homes that sign their puppies up for training classes prior to adoption.
