My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don’t let Bug’s pictures fool you – she’s actually the energizer bunny in kitten form! This eight-month-old girl likes to be on the go! She considers everything a toy - crinkle balls, wand toys, pipe cleaners, springs, tunnels, boxes, packing paper, your slippers, your pyjama pants, toes under the covers...everything is fair game! She’ll play with the toys the resident cats won’t even look twice at! If you need “help” making the bed, Bug will be front and centre making sure everything is ship-shaped. Since she likes to be always on the move, she doesn’t really have time for being held or sitting on laps. She absolutely loves snuggling up at bedtime and sleeps cuddled up to her foster mom all night. Bug is very confident, and doesn’t mind meeting strangers, especially if they’ll play with her. She loves to be with people all the time (probably because she has major FOMO)! A great work-from-home buddy, Bug spends her day in the office while her foster mom works. Bug is an expert biscuit maker, and you can hear her purr from across the room and will chat and chirp when you pet her. Bug is currently eating a diet of duck food that is readily available from pet stores. Bug absolutely MUST go to a home with another playful pet.

Bug came to us as a stray and therefore, we don’t know anything about her past, other than she’s cute as a bug and ready for her forever home at last!

If you want a kitten that will always keep you entertained and make you laugh, Bug is the girl for you!

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
