Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Johnny and June came to us when they wandered up to a Good Samaritan in Union City, TN. She couldn't let them freeze in the cold weather at night, so the Good Samaritan brought these precious beagle babies home with her in an effort to find out where they came from. Johnny and June stayed with her for a while and when no owners came forth to claim them, we stepped in to get them the vet care and forever homes they need and deserve for the holidays and all their years to come.
June is extremely sweet, loving, and gentle girl. She is estimated to be between 1-2 years old and is on the smaller side for a beagle. June absolutely loves her foster mom's son and enjoys playing with him and snuggling with him on the couch every day. There are two female canine foster siblings in June's foster home and she gets along well with both of them and with Johnny during their time together. She is initially a little shy until she warms up to people due to her unknown past as a stray, but she will give you the "cutest, most excited butt wiggle and tail wags when it's treat time" according to her foster mom. June is happiest to spend her time as a lap dog, as she does not understand the concept or need for personal space. June is mostly quiet, which is shocking for her being a beagle, but she will occasionally bark to let you know of the outside intruder aka the garbage truck, haha! Like all beagles/hunting breeds or dogs, June will need to be supervised when outside to keep her well-developed nose from finding smells that may be too impossible to resist.
June already knows how to sit and is potty-trained. She is working on being crate-trained as well. June has an appointment to be spayed in the upcoming weeks but is ready to begin receiving adoption applications now for her forever home! Additionally, she will be up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and will have received heartworm treatment (if heartworm positive) when adopted.
