Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Hazel is a 5 year old Samoyed/Staffordshire Terrier mix who we adopted from the Baltimore County Animal Shelter. She is a very sweet girl and extremely active. She loves walks, going on hikes, swimming - basically anything outside. She is housetrained but will have the occasional in the house accident from excited peeing. She loves to lick and will cuddle up as close to you as possible. She is a little nervous around new people but is a love bug once she warms up to people. Hazel is also a little anxious. Currently we give her Zesty Paws calming bites and she has a white noise machine that seems to help.
We love Hazel very very much but unfortunately she no longer gets along with our other dog. Due to this, we believe that Hazel would be much better suited to an only pet home. We do have a cat that she enjoys playing with. Aside from her housemate, she gets along with other dogs well as has gone to daycare, on playdates, and to dog parks. She would be best suited as an only dog.
