Meet Kelly – Your New Best Friend in the Making!

Kelly is a 5-month-old shepherd mix overflowing with love, energy, and charm! This sweet girl has a heart full of affection and is ready to find her forever family. Whether she's chasing after her chew toys, playing with her furry friends, or curling up for a well-earned nap, Kelly’s zest for life will bring happiness to any home.

A Social Butterfly
Kelly thrives on love and attention and is always excited to meet new people of all ages. With her puppy enthusiasm, she may get a little bouncy when she’s thrilled—it’s her way of showing just how much she adores you! Kelly also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making her a fantastic companion for both humans and furry friends alike.

Quick Learner with Great Habits
Currently, in foster care, Kelly is mastering the basics of potty training and responding beautifully to positive reinforcement. She’s a big fan of chew toys, which keep her entertained (and your furniture safe!). Kelly is already proving to be a quick learner and is on her way to becoming a well-behaved member of the family.

Notes from Her Foster Family:

  • Kelly is a cute, busy bee who loves people and gets super excited and jumpy when she sees them.

  • She’s on the active side and enjoys playing with the other dogs in the house.

  • She’s already learning the ropes with her chew toys and has been kind to our furniture.

  • When she’s tired, she’s the cuddliest pup ever.

  • She’s still a bit skinny, but we’re working on that—and she’s thriving!

  • She truly goes with the flow and fits right into our home.

Is Kelly the Right Fit for You?
If you’re looking for a playful, loyal, and cuddly pup to brighten your days, Kelly could be the perfect fit for your family. Her love for adventure and affection makes her an ideal companion for an active home ready to give her the love she deserves.

More about this rescue

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
