My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

When ARPO found Licorice and his five siblings, they were all extremely ill from a gastrointestinal parasite. Fortunately, Licorice and two of his siblings were able to make a full recovery and are now happy and healthy kittens. Licorice and his two siblings, Cowgirl and Dulce, would love to stay together as a trio, but Licorice is especially attached to Cowgirl and wants to end up in the same forever home with her. Licorice is an energetic kitten that loves cat toys and cat trees to climb on, and he instantly starts purring when you pet him (just like his two siblings). Licorice has been socialized with other pets and gets along well with both cats and dogs, as well as toddlers. Licorice is looking for an experienced cat owner to love and enjoy his toys with. Give him a clean litter box, love and affection and you'll live happily after. Licorice was neutered in early December and has his final kitten booster scheduled for 12/21/24. His estimated birthday is 8-22-24.
