My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jed is a gentle 6-year-old black cat with a heart full of love to share. Saved from an unnecessary fate simply because of his FIV status, Jed is a shining example of resilience and sweetness. He’s just like every other cat at ACS—healthy, happy, and ready to find his forever home.

Jed is incredibly laid-back and cat-friendly. He’s not one to cause a fuss; all he wants is a cozy lap to lounge on and someone to love him unconditionally. If you’re looking for a loyal and low-maintenance companion, Jed might be your perfect match.

If you are interested in adopting, or even learning more about FIV stop in, we are open 7 days a week!

Anytime during open hours, no appointment needed. We also house adoptable cats at the Horseheads and Ithaca PetSmarts as well as Sondra's City Zoo in Elmira. Every other month, we alternate off-site adoption events between IRFCU in Sayre, PA and the Williamsport PetSmart.
