Once upon a time, a little Terrier mix named Peanut Butter found himself in a heartbreaking situation. Alongside his brother Jelly, he sat on a kill list, waiting for a second chance he wasn’t sure would come. Then Sunny Bear Rescue stepped in, and everything changed.

Peanut Butter’s story is one of hope and transformation. At just 5 months old, he’s already shown the world how incredible rescue dogs can be. With his golden tan coat and warm, soulful eyes, he’s as beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside.

This sweet boy has a gentle, loving nature that melts hearts instantly. He adores affection and is happiest when surrounded by people who love him. His medium energy level means he’s just as excited to go on adventures as he is to curl up for a quiet evening at home.

Peanut Butter has proven to be wonderful with kids and dogs, but his behavior around cats and other animals is still unknown. He’s house trained, and while crate training is still a work in progress, he’s off to a great start with no issues so far.
