My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"My idea of absolute happiness is to be with my dog." And K.C. will truly bring happiness to his new family.

Why we love him: Our delightful K.C. has the tenderest of hearts and the gentlest of souls and we love spending time with him.

K.C. is a Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix who weighs 50 pounds and is eleven months old.

He does well on a leash and adores being close by your side on daily walks. Outings in the fenced yard are one of his favorite ways to spend the day.

K.C. also loves to sit by your side to be petted and loved on.

K.C. is a smart, eager to please young dog who should master any commands you wish to teach him.

K.C. spent time in a foster home during the holidays and his foster Mom reports: "K.C. has done well with our dogs and cats. He was very scared when we first brought him home and took about a week to get comfortable. He slept in his crate all night. K.C. is so sweet and will make a great family dog."

He recently had an outing with two of our volunteers and had such a fun time! K.C. liked riding in the car and having photos taken with Santa. He also enjoyed meeting several people he encountered.
