My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chica: The Beautiful & Spirited Husky Mix!

Chica is a stunning, one-year-old husky shepherd mix who is ready to find her forever home! This beautiful girl was found as a stray with two newborn puppies, and while her little ones have long since been rehomed, Chica is still looking for a family to call her own. Her sweet, loving nature and unique appearance are sure to win your heart.

What Makes Chica Special:

  • Vocal & Expressive: As is typical for huskies, Chica is quite vocal. Whether she's talking to you or telling you how she feels, her voice is part of her charm!
  • Good with Dogs & Cats: Chica is social and gets along well with both dogs and cats. She’s the perfect companion for a multi-pet household.
  • House-trained & Kennel-Crated: Chica is housetrained and has experience being kenneled. While she does well in a crate, she’ll let you know when she’s had enough quiet time, so she’ll need a family that understands her vocalizations.
  • Food Motivated: Chica is very food-driven! She loves her treats and will work for them.
  • Leash Trained & Car Rides: Chica enjoys her walks and is leash trained. Plus, she’s a fan of car rides — always ready to go on an adventure with her humans!
  • The Runaway Artist: Like many huskies, Chica has a tendency to run if given the chance. She’ll need a secure yard and a family committed to keeping her safe and sound. A secure leash and harness are a must when out on walks.

What She Needs: Chica is looking for a family who will appreciate her husky nature: her vocal personality, her zest for life, and her need for an active lifestyle. She’s great with other animals and would thrive in a home with a confident dog to play with or a family that enjoys outdoor activities and can provide her with lots of stimulation. Her ideal family will be experienced with or willing to learn about huskies’ needs for exercise and training, especially when it comes to keeping her safe and secure. She would do well with children older than 12 years old.

If you’re ready to bring home a beautiful, playful, and loving girl like Chica, she’s waiting to meet you!

Vaccinated, microchipped and spayed.
