Are you looking for someone to look at you adoringly and stick like Velcro to your side? Then I’m the guy for you! I’m Thistle, but my foster family calls me “Bubs.” I was rescued as a stray in Kentucky and am looking for my perfect person. Picture it – we wake up in the morning, me in my crate (which I’m great at sleeping in), you in your bed. We hop in the car (I love car rides) and go to work (I’m a very popular and well-behaved office dog for my foster mom). After a long day of napping at your feet, we veg out on the couch. You give me a belly rub and I’ll look back lovingly. Sounds great, right? If you’re up for a post-work bonding activity, I could use a little more training, especially with walking nicely on a leash. I’m a bit of a foodie which makes me very easy to train. I know “sit,” “down,” and “crate,” and (not to brag) I’m pretty much housebroken. I have a distinctive underbite, so I’m almost always pouting or smiling. Admittedly, I’m an emotional guy. I can also be a bit of a crier in my crate if I’m alone, but leaving the TV on helps. I get nervous around new people, so when we meet, please don’t take it personally if I need a minute to warm up. It’s not you – it’s me. But if we’re a match, your days are about to get a whole lot better with me by your side! . I would do best in a home with another pup - it helps me build my confidence. If you are interested in adopting Thistle please apply at https://www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.
