My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peppermint Butler! 🎄🐾
Peppermint Butler is a strikingly handsome, approximately 3-year-old golden mix with a unique feature that’s hard to miss—his mesmerizing two-toned eyes! Weighing about 40 lbs, this medium-sized pup is as loving as he is cool-looking.

Here’s why Peppermint Butler might just be your new best friend:

🌟 Personality & Training:
-Peppermint Butler knows “sit,” “down,” and “shake” like a pro, and he’s already working on mastering “drop it.” He’s incredibly quick to learn and loves showing off his skills.
-Potty training? Check! This clever boy has it down.
-While he barks for 5–10 minutes in his kennel when you leave, he settles quickly, showing he’s eager to please.
-He’s gentle with treats and has zero food, toy, or treat aggression.

🌟 Activities & Affection:
-Peppermint Butler is a fetch superstar! Balls are his favorite, and he’ll happily chase them for hours.
-Super affectionate, he’s known for giving the sweetest hugs.
-Car rides? No problem—he’s a perfect travel buddy.
-Even bath time and nail trims are a breeze with this guy!

🌟 Good to Know:
-Peppermint Butler is said to be friendly with large dogs and kids (though he hasn’t been personally tested yet).
-He’s not cat-friendly and has a high prey drive, so no small dogs or cats in his forever home, please.
-He’s respectful of fences (no escape artist here!) and has medium-strength leash manners, which will improve with a little training.

🌟 Areas for Growth:
-He’s a bit of an excited jumper, but he’s excellent at sitting when reminded.
-Occasionally tries to mark indoors, but he’s doing well with a belly band.
-Currently has a habit of humping, but we’re optimistic this will improve once he’s neutered.

Peppermint Butler is ready to bring joy, fun, and unconditional love to a home that will cherish his affectionate nature and playful spirit. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who will keep you smiling, this golden boy is the one for you!
