My name is Butterscotch!

Meow! I’m Butterscotch, a handsome ginger boy with a soft, sweet side just waiting to shine—kind of like my namesake treat! I may be pretty shy and skittish at first, but with patient paw-rents and a cozy, quiet home, I promise to melt into a paw-some companion. I’m FIV+ (don’t worry, it just means I need to stay indoors to stay healthy). I’m still learning that hoomans can be kind, but once I feel safe, I might just surprise you by batting around toys and showing off my playful spirit. If you’ve got the love and patience to help me bloom, I’d be the purr-fect addition to your home!

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet Butterscotch with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org.
