Are you looking for a super smart dog who can impress others with tricks? Do you have experience with Border Collies? Look no further! Maggie is a beautiful 1-year-old, 29lb black and white Border Collie. True to her breed, she is looking for an active home that can fulfill her daily exercise needs. Maggie knows basic commands but is very willing to learn so much more! Maggie can be timid at first and needs time to warm up to people and situations. Once warmed up, she is a very sweet dog who enjoys giving kisses and snuggling. She does well with other dogs but can herd her dog friends, as her breed is known to do. Maggie is crate trained, potty trained, and does well walking on a leash. She loves to go on long walks or hikes regardless of the weather. Maggie’s personality would make her perfect for agility or fly-ball if given the opportunity. Maggie does have some herding tendencies and may do best in an adult-only home with a family that is familiar with pure bred Border Collies. Maggie will need a family that is able to provide lots of stimulation for her physically and mentally. If you do not have full breed experience with Border Collies, Maggie will likely be too much dog for you. If Maggie sounds like a good fit for your family, fill out an application ASAP!
