Buddy is a six-week-old Labrador-Hound mix bursting with holiday cheer and puppy energy—just like his namesake from Elf. He’s been spreading joy (and endless puppy kisses) to everyone he meets, even while bravely recovering from parvovirus. 💪❤️

This little guy is as cute and cuddly as they come and guaranteed to make you laugh, whether he’s chasing his tail or searching for the “four main food groups”: kibble, treats, belly rubs, and love. 🐶🍖 Buddy is UTD on vaccines and on the road to recovery, Buddy is almost ready to find his forever family.

Southern Tails Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit, supported by local community donations in order to ensure the physical and medical well-being of the dogs. We rely solely on the financial support of our donors’ generosity as well as any fundraisers we host, and the time and energy of our volunteers. We focus on rescuing dogs from rural shelters and streets in the surrounding areas of Charleston, South Carolina. We believe every paw has a tale.
