My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Jake, and I`m a very handsome young man! I was brought to the shelter as a stray puppy back in December, and no one came to claim me. But then I got adopted! It didn`t last long though, because the adopter brought me back one month later due to a `lifestyle change`. So here I am again, waiting for YOU! I`m about four months old now, and just as cute as I can possibly be! I`m listed as a Mountain Cur mix, and I`m brindle and white in color. I`m really quite adorable, and you should come meet me in person before someone else comes and scoops me up! Keep in mind that since I`m a puppy, I will need lots of love, patience, and understanding---to help me get through the puppy phase. But with your help, I will grow up to be a happy, healthy, well-adjusted boy. In my new home, I would love to have lots of toys, a comfy bed, and a fenced-in yard to keep me safe while I run and play. I`ve already been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, so I`m ready to go! Can you give a sweet lil` guy like me a FOREVER home? If so, I would really like to meet you today! See you soon!

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
