Rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas, Tammy was on the euthanasia list before finding her way to a loving foster home, where she now enjoys a second chance at life.
At just 8-10 months old (12/6) old and 38 lbs, Tammy is a medium-sized mixed breed with a heart full of love. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and one of the most cuddly and snuggly dogs her foster has ever met. Tammy has a mellow energy but is always up for a hike or an adventure. She’s great with kids (ages 4 and up) and absolutely loves other dogs. She’s even learning how to play with toys!

We do a background check, vet check, and call the references the potential adopter has given us. Call the landlord if a potential adopter if they do rent the home. Also, home check or virtual home visit. We can do out-of-state adoptions. If you currently have a dog and are applying for a dog who is with us a meet and greet is also required.
