Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Clawdia, a sweet and snuggly girl who just wants to curl up and cuddle with you all day! Clawdia is front declawed, so she's extra gentle and more than happy to spend her time relaxing and soaking up all the love. Due to her being declawed, she needs to be a strictly indoor cat. She’s a big fan of wet food and will happily purr her way through mealtime.

Clawdia has lived with another cat before and seems to enjoy feline company, so she’d likely do well in a home with other cats. As for dogs, Clawdia would probably be okay with a calm, laid-back dog who respects her space and doesn’t get too "in her face."

If you're looking for a chill, affectionate companion who’s all about cuddles and cozy vibes, Clawdia is ready to be your new best friend! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and FelV-FIV negative.

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.

This is accomplished through education, quality and compassionate care of the animals received at the shelter, and community outreach. GHHS obtains funding through donations, fees for services, and fundraisers.
