Meet Oolong, a sweet and chill boy who's ready to be your next best friend!

Oolong is a laid-back cat with a heart of gold. He loves treats and doesn't mind being held, making him the perfect companion for cozy snuggles and quiet moments. Oolong gets along well with other cats, so he'd be a great addition to a multi-cat household. While he hasn’t shown any strong reactions to dogs, he’s so easygoing that we think he’d adjust just fine with a calm, cat-friendly dog.

If you’re looking for a relaxed, affectionate feline friend who’s happy to go with the flow, Oolong just might be the cat you’ve been waiting for! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and feLV-FIV negative.

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.

Our shelter is located at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo in southern lower Michigan about 20 miles north of the Ohio border.

The Greater Hillsdale Humane Society is a nonprofit, privately funded organization dedicated to promoting the welfare of companion animals in Hillsdale County, Michigan. This is accomplished through education, quality and compassionate care of the animals received at the shelter, and community outreach. GHHS obtains funding through donations, fees for services, and fundraisers.
