Hi, I’m Duchess! I was found as a stray by a kind family who took me in and gave me a safe place to stay. I got along well with everyone there—kids, cats, and even dogs! But as much as they loved me, their house was already full, so they brought me to FOHA to help me find a family of my very own.

I’m a beautiful black-and-white girl with soft, medium-length fur, and I love being the center of attention. Napping is one of my favorite pastimes, but I’ll happily pause for some affection from staff and volunteers—pets and cuddles make my day!

If you already have pets, that’s great, but please remember that slow introductions are key to helping everyone get along. I can’t wait to bring my sweetness and charm to a forever home. Could that be with you?

Walk-ins are welcome at the shelter Friday, Saturday or Sunday 12-5pm. If you submit an application ahead of time we will send you a link to sign up for an appointment Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
