🌟 QUILL 🌟, a delightful 1 year old Terrier mix is ready and hoping to steal your heart. Weighing only 39 lbs, this girl is the perfect size for cuddles and her shiny black coat, inquisitive look and perky ears make Quill a small package of beauty. She's very sociable and enjoys playing with other dogs..... just ask pal Snoopy. When meeting kitties, she seemed interested but respectful.
Walking Quill is a joy and she has an adorable "sit". She walks happily on leash, an excellent walking companion❤ and she loved our small agility course. Quill also adores people.... always eager to make new human friends. Her friendly nature will make her a great addition to any family.
The only thing missing in Quill's life is a forever home where she's a loved and cherished family member... she's ready to share her joyful and loving nature with you. More about this shelter

The Bastrop Animal Control organization became a reality in 1998. We've grown since then and continue to do so as Bastrop County grows. Currently, we have 3 separate buildings containing a total of 90 large indoor/outdoor kennels and 8 play yards. We have 30 indoor cat kennels. We also have a 3 room cattery, that enables cats to live together in colony type environments until they find their forever home. If you have ever worked with or adopted a shelter pet, you know just how much they crave the attention and love we and our volunteers can provide and their eternal gratitude when they find their forever home at last.
