Santa has had a tough past, and when he first arrived with us, it was clear that he had experienced a lot of fear and uncertainty. He is understandably shy and shut down in new environments, but with time, patience, and love, Santa can learn to trust again.



Santa would do best in a calm, quiet home with adults only, where he can feel safe and secure. He will thrive in a household with confident, well-adjusted dogs who can help him build his confidence and encourage him to come out of his shell. Santa’s perfect family will understand that there will be an adjustment period and that he needs time to acclimate at his own pace.
