Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Miso was a kitten when he and his siblings were rescued off the streets of San Diego. He was a small, shy boy with bleeding heart. He was adopted by my manager, 3 years ago, however, her existing cat did not take too kindly to having a sibling, so my friend/ later roommate adopted him and I became a coparent. She ended up moving to Australia, leaving me with sole custody of miso. For a time, it was manageable, however, the year following, I rescued a kitten from outside my work, and my partner and I took her home. Once again I have been left with sole custody of two cats, with all the bills, and all care responsibilities. I have tried to make it work and avoid rehoming, however, the time has come. He needs more, space, love, attention and an owner who can cover any future medical expenses. I cannot do these things, and have come to the conclusion that this is in his best interest. He is the best, sweetest boy and he deserves his forever home with a family who will love bomb him forever
