Hot Chocolate is a handsome and cautious boy who came to the shelter from an outdoor colony with his brother. While his brother found a home quickly, Hot Chocolate is still waiting for his chance. He’s a bit wary of people and will need a patient, understanding home where he can take the time to build trust and feel safe. Despite his shyness, he is playful and enjoys the company of other cats, making him a great companion for a feline-friendly household. With love and time, Hot Chocolate is sure to warm up and show his sweet side.

Go meet their pets

Anytime during open hours, no appointment needed. We also house adoptable cats at the Horseheads and Ithaca PetSmarts as well as Sondra's City Zoo in Elmira. Every other month, we alternate off-site adoption events between IRFCU in Sayre, PA and the Williamsport PetSmart.
