Hi friends, my name is Tonic. My brother and I originally were at Animal Control but came to HP to find the best possible home. I am a special case. I have what they call Bilateral Luxating Patellas, which means both of my back kneecaps slip in and out of place. I can get around, run/walk/jump, just fine. I just look a little wonky while doing those things. I am the sweetest boy in the world, who loves hugs and kisses from the humans. Helping Paws is a no-kill animal shelter for stray and abandoned dogs and cats in McHenry County and surrounding areas. The animals are provided a safe place where they receive medical care, spaying or neutering, daily care and love, and the opportunity to be adopted by a responsible owner.
