My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Libi is a sweet silvery-gray tabby who is friendly, but on the shy side. She loves interaction with wand toys and will somehow find every toy hidden in the all the corners, and runs around playing with them. .While she started off shy in her foster home, she did slowly warm up to give gentle sweet head rubs & allowing some soft pets (with boundaries, like all cats)- her affection is well worth the wait! When not playing or eagerly awaiting food/ treats (she is a food motivated girlie), she will lay nearby in the cutest sleeping poses, or just claim the bed altogether. She even started her own tiny bakery and makes little biscuits sometimes, and forms an excellent loaf shape herself. She likes to be near you and be in her foster mom’s company, but not right on you (not a lap cat). Libi will be a great fit for someone who is looking for a sweet little cat who likes to lay around quietly, and be patient for her to warm up to them.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
