Cali is a carefree and sweet young adult dog seeking a loving home! She is a big gal weighing in at 74lbs. She came to the shelter as a stray and when her family did not come to claim her, Cali was prepared for adoption. She has been friendly with all the staff and volunteers she meets! One of our dog walking volunteers had this to say, “Cali is such a sweetheart (and so soft)!! She was a little scared walking through the kennel area, with all the dogs barking at her, but she loosened up out in the dog run. She found a jolly ball and a tennis ball and just turned into a big block-headed happy puppy! She knows fetch and is learning to drop the ball for another ball. She`s such a cute, sweet, high-energy pup”. Cali walks well on a leash and enjoys playing with squeaky toys and rope toys. Cali was tense during her dog-to-dog evaluation here at the shelter. Because we do not know much about her history of socialization with other dogs, we highly recommend any household dogs be brought to the shelter to meet Cali and make sure she is a good fit for your pack. Sound like the sweet and goofy dog you are looking for? Come meet and adopt Cali today!
