She is also sweet and a little shy, just like her companion (we think her puppy) who came in alongside her. Both dogs were surrendered without a single detail about their lives—no names, no favorite treats, no beloved toys. Just left behind, confused and unsure of what’s next. Despite it all, Autumn showed us her gentle heart, leaning in for kisses and seeking out comfort. She deserves a life filled with love, warmth, and stability. We hope she finds her way to a rescue or a forever home soon.

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
