Mercury is a spirited four-year-old, 40-pound Terrier/APBT mix with a heart
as big as his playful personality. Despite being a tripod, Mercury doesn’t let anything slow him down—he’s a lively boy who loves pouncing on balls, chasing stuffies, and engaging in interactive play with his favorite people. Once he gets to know you, Mercury’s sweet, affectionate side shines through, and he’ll happily soak up all the scritches and pets you can give.

Though initially shy with new faces, Mercury warms up quickly and
becomes a loyal, attentive companion. He’s easy to leash up, walks well on
a leash, and remains calm when other dogs pass by. If his attention wanders, a quick redirection does the trick. Mercury is eager to please and will sit politely for treats, which he takes with the gentlest manners.

With his affectionate nature and playful energy, Mercury is the perfect match for a family seeking a loving, devoted companion. His adoption fee of $225 includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
