My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butterscotch is a sweet and affectionate dog with a gentle, calm nature. He loves human attention and enjoys being petted, often leaning in for more. On leash, he walks with mild strength and pulls lightly, but he stays focused on his handler and is uninterested in other dogs. While he's generally well-behaved, Butterscotch does show some signs of anxiety, particularly in a kennel environment. With time, he may need extra support to manage his anxiety in a home, and activities like walks and puzzle toys will help keep him engaged and calm.

With a patient, understanding family, Butterscotch will make a loving and loyal companion. He thrives on positive reinforcement and would do best in a calm, structured home where he feels secure. His future family should be ready to provide him with a consistent routine and gentle care to help him continue to blossom into the sweet, affectionate dog he is.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.

I am playful and cute!

I will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for my energy.
