My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hunter! He is ready to bring joy and warmth into your life as we step into the New Year! This incredible pup is the total package, a model foster dog who checks all the boxes:
- House trained: No accidents here—Hunter’s manners are impeccable.
- Smart and Quick Learner: He learned to sit on his very first night.
- Obedient: He’ll walk into his kennel with just a word or motion of “get in your house.”
- Friendly: Hunter gets along wonderfully with all dogs and people, even those who aren’t always the nicest to him.
- Independent: While affectionate, he’s not a Velcro dog. He’s content to hang out quietly, even with his kennel door open.
- Curious Yet Respectful: He’s intrigued by the world but never destructive.
- Leash Pro: Walks with Hunter are genuinely fun and enjoyable. He’s even indifferent to cats he encounters along the way!

Hunter is the SWEETEST and has a noble air about him, perfect for cozy nights by the fireplace. His past may be a mystery, but his future with you is bound to be extraordinary.

Hunter is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. If you are interested in learning more or meeting him, please complete an adoption survey using the link below (copy and paste link):
