My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nona. A sweet girl, with a coat of fur as black as a beautiful night sky and eyes shining bright, full of curiosity. She may seem a bit reserved at first, but give her a moment and she'll warm up to you. Nona enjoys calm environments where she can bask in tranquility. She's not one for the hustle and bustle, preferring quiet corners where she can observe and take in her surroundings. She's a sweet soul, always ready to share a gentle purr or a soft nudge of affection when she warms up to you. Her gentle and quiet nature make her the perfect companion for someone looking to add some tranquility to their life.

Anytime during open hours, no appointment needed. We also house adoptable cats at the Horseheads and Ithaca PetSmarts as well as Sondra's City Zoo in Elmira. Every other month, we alternate off-site adoption events between IRFCU in Sayre, PA and the Williamsport PetSmart.
