Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ARIZONA ONLY ** PHOENIX METRO AREA ** We are ready to start taking applications for Trixie, a 9-year-old miniature schnauzer who recently lost her home. During her recent dental, a small mass was removed from her face. We’re awaiting biopsy results but the vet is optimistic that it was not a concern. We have had three sets of bloodwork done for her and a urinalysis. Her kidney numbers are slightly elevated so it is recommended that she be on prescription food for the rest of her life. We’ve started her on the new food and she is perky and happy.
This darling 13 pound girl just loves her walks and her rope toy; she is preciously playful. And, she loves sitting on the sofa with her people to watch TV. She truly watches TV! She seems to be fascinated with it and when the TV is on, that’s her focus. Should there be a dog on TV, watch out 😊 It’s very exciting.
Trixie is a non-shedding dog and requires regular grooming. She enjoys being pampered and loves having her humans around all the time. For the times you have to go out for a bit, of course, leave the TV on for her 😊
Trixie is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, fully vet tested, and ready to enjoy the rest of her life with a loving family. Any children in the home should be at least 10 years old and of a very kind, gentle, respectful, and responsible nature.
We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application. Please email to request one.

More about this rescue
We are a small foster-based group who helps owners who can no longer care for their dogs, or if someone passes and there is no family to take the dog, we can place the dog in a foster home, vet the dog, and then after personality assessment, will make the dog available for adoption.
Also, based on foster availability, we take in stray dogs and diligently look for owners. We have a good track record for reuniting pets with their families, but in the cases where no owner surfaces, we vet the dogs and prepare them for adoption, all while they are in a safe and loving foster home.
