Meet Rosie! 🐾
Hi there! I’m Rosie, a 4-5 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. I’m currently in foster care, where I’m learning the ropes of being a great companion. I may have had a rough start, but I’m thriving in my foster home and am ready to find my forever family.
I’m friendly, affectionate, and playful. Whether it’s going for walks or just hanging out, I’m always up for some fun and cuddles. I tolerate other dogs but prefer to be solely spoiled. I’m doing great with commands such as sitting and staying but still learning to walk without pulling on leash. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving friend who will make every day brighter, I might just be the one for you! Let’s meet and see if we’re the perfect match. 🐾💕

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
