Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Ludwig is 3 years old, up to date on all his shots and has been neutered. Ludwig is very cuddly and a Velcro dog that wants to follow you everywhere. He is very quiet, rarely barks and the barks are only around other dogs. He walks nicely on leash. He loves people and greets everyone on walks. He’s completely housebroken and has not had any accidents inside the house.
He’s leash reactive to other dogs due to a lack of socialization. He has been introduced to another dog under the guidance of a trainer and been fine. There’s no aggression, just a lack of socialization with other dogs. It’s a work in progress. Ideally a home without other dogs or one with someone willing to work with him would be best. I can have the trainer help with dog introductions.
His ideal home would be with someone that has a backyard for him to run off energy and more space for him. He has the sweetest disposition and is wonderful in the house. I’d prefer he go to someone with previous Shepherd experience.
