Hi! I`m Chipper, and I recently went on a little adventure. It was such a fun day! I started out feeling energetic, as I’m always excited to get out of my kennel, but I calmed down pretty quickly once we got going. At first, I was a bit nervous about getting into the car, but after that first time, I was jumping in with no problem.
My adventure took me to Westside Park, where I got to go on a nice walk. I’m easy to walk on the leash, and I spent a lot of time sniffing around, taking in all the new smells. I saw a few other dogs from a distance, and while I was curious, I didn’t react at all—I was totally calm and focused. We even made a stop at Chick Fil-A, and I was an angel in the car, just relaxing and falling asleep while we drove. Once we were back at the park, I got to enjoy some chicken tenders. I was very gentle while eating, taking my time and savoring every bite.
After another walk around the park, we headed back to the shelter. Overall, I’m a sweet, easy-going dog who enjoys some sniffing and a few tasty snacks, but I’m also calm and well-behaved. My exercise needs are pretty moderate—I’m the kind of dog who enjoys a good walk or run. I don’t get overly excited around other dogs, and I’m great on a leash.
So, if you’re looking for a sweet, easy companion, I’d be the perfect match. Just know that I might need a little time to warm up to new things, but once I do, I’m a happy, gentle guy!
