Meet Marley, a sweet and chatty kitten who loves to let you know when he wants attention with the cutest chirping sounds. His favorite spot is on his human’s lap, soaking up all the love and affection he can get. He is full of energy and thrives on daily play sessions, especially when he’s chasing soft toys or climbing up and down the cat tree.

Marley's best friend is Carly. They are a perfect pair, always cuddling and playing together. Marley and Carly are inseparable and must be adopted together. They will be fine with older children who are experienced and gentle with kittens. Ready to welcome this delightful duo into your heart and home?

1.
Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
