My name is Merida!

This poor girl is Merida. We have taken her in for as long as we can but want to find her an amazing home. Merida’s owner dumped her in the middle of the woods. Merida spent over two weeks trying to find her way home. Merida found her way back home where they kicked her off the porch and he loaded her up again and went and dumped her. When the people found her they called us to come get her.
This dog has been through hell and survived it. She just wants to be loved.
She loves men!! We would like to find her a single man with no other dogs to bond with. She’s a lover, she needs someone to be as loyal to her as she is. Just be with her, she’s the smartest dog I’ve ever seen. If she was trained by a police officer or a military person she would guard like no other. She needs to be somewhere on property that she can run and chew on sticks. She is potty trained and does not chew at all. Merida gets along with male dogs but not with female dogs.
