Just look at this sweet face!! Fizzle is irresistible. When you see her, you’ll HAVE to pet her. Lucky her, she loves being petted and brushed! It’s her favorite way to unwind. She’ll nuzzle your hand and purr in appreciation. You’ll have quite the lapfull if she climbs up on you, Fizzle is a solid 18 pounds! Yep, she’s on a little diet to help her get to a healthier weight ;)

Fizzle is all about the little things - give her a snack, or sprinkle a little catnip on her scratcher, and she’s in pure bliss mode. When she’s done skritching, she’ll plop wright down on that scratcher to take everything and everyone in. Make eye contact with her and she’ll meow you a hello!

Step one:
Browse our available animals online. Our website has more details on every animal, including any known history with dogs, cats, and kids, as well as individual adoption fees. Visit https://www.austinpetsalive.org/adopt

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
