Happy-go-lucky Zane is looking for a new home to bounce into! This energetic boy is looking forward to being showered with treats and attention in his new home. Zane would appreciate a quiet spot to land, with some patient humans who can give him the time he needs to acclimate to a new home, create some low-pressure consistency and provide opportunities for genuine rest and freestyle play that will help. Following some sniffy adventures, he'd likely enjoy a puzzle toy or a chew to further stimulate him during downtime indoors.
Our volunteers tell us that Zane gets excited when they leash him up for his walks but soon calms down. He walks with minimal pulling, but loud noises may startle him and when that happens, they can easily redirect his attention back to them with treats ... and apparently the stinkier the better. He also loves getting his back scratched.
Come meet this cutie today! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 79.2 Age: 1yrs 6mths 3wks

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.
How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
