Oscar here! Me and my brother Roscoe were locked in the Dog Park not too long ago. Yea, I guess our owner put us there overnight, because when people started coming to play with their dogs, they found us already there! Someone took us to the shelter where we waited to be claimed. No one ever came and now we are up for adoption. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. Say I have a great idea! Why don’t you adopt both me and Roscoe? Oh we would have so much fun growing up together.

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
